    Petalwell Loves Vegan Chocolate Pots...

    A delicious alternative to a chocolate Easter Egg, this yummy recipe from Jamie Oliver is to die for!!

    Ingredients

    - 200g dairy free dark chocolate
    - 700g silken tofu
    - 160g maple syrup
    - 1 zest of lime
    - 1 tablespoon vanilla bean paste
    - 1 tablespoon dark rum
    - 1 large pinch of dried chilli flakes
    - 1 large pinch of sea salt

    Method

    Place a small pan over a medium heat, half fill with boiling water, place a medium heatproof bowl on top without touching the water. Break the chocolate allow to melt stirring occasionally.
    Line a medium bowl with a clean towel, add the tofu and squeeze out the excess moisture into the bowl.

    Add the tofu to a food processor with the remaining ingredients, add 1 good pinch of sea salt then blitz until smooth.

    Add the melted chocolate, pulse until combined.
    Divide the mixture between little bowls, we use espresso cups. Pop in the fridge for 15 minutes to chill, then serve.

    Spring is the perfect time for a city break and we love any excuse to visit Florence, Italy.

    The sun has started to peak out from behind the clouds, there are less crowds making it easier to navigate this wonderful city. With so much to do and see, The Ponte Vecchio Bridge with its fabulous jewellery shops, the home of Dante, the Statue of David and not to forget the magnificent Duomo.

    We love to relax and watch the world go by with a coffee at Caffe Gilli, a perfect way to energise for a little shopping!!
